Fixed side glass — removal and installation (Opel Ascona C)

            0

1. This type of glass is installed on Hatchback models.

2. Ask the assistant to catch the glass as you push it (the glass) outwards with the force of your hand, from inside the cabin.

3. Install the glass in place using the string method as described for installing the windshield in Section 31. Cross the ends of the accessory cord at the front top corner of the window.

4. Align the seal with the body at the bottom of the window and, with the help of an assistant who will have to press firmly on the glass from the outside, pull the ends of the cord so that the seal fits into place on the body flange.
