Rear window or rear door glass — removal and installation (Opel Ascona C)

1. All processes are very similar to those described for the windshield in the previous Section, but do not forget to first disconnect the electrical wires from the rear window heating element, as well as the washer hose and wiper arm (if installed) (see photo 32.1).



2. On some models, the glass is installed directly on the body, without using a rubber seal. In this case, you will have to leave the removal and installation to professionals.
