Warnings:
- After removing the fuel injectors, position them so that they can be installed in their proper places during assembly.
- After removing the fuel injectors, replace all O-rings.
Removal
Remove the upper section of the intake manifold (see the relevant chapter).
Remove the camshaft (see the relevant chapter).
Disconnect the high pressure fuel lines from the fuel rails.
Remove the fuel rails (see the relevant chapter).
Remove the fuel injector sealing ring (6).

Screw the KM-931 adapter (3) onto the fuel injector.

Install the KM-328-V puller (2) onto the adapter, then pull the fuel injector (4) out of the cylinder head.
Warning! Place the removed injectors in the order they were installed so that you can then install each injector in its proper place.
Remove the lower sealing ring (5) from the fuel injector.
Clean all removed parts and check their condition.
Installation
Install a new rubber sealing ring (1) and a new copper ring (3).

Install the injector in its seat, make sure that the ball (2) enters the groove (4) in the cylinder head.
Install a new sealing ring (1) on the fuel rail and lubricate it with a thin layer of silicone lubricant.

Install the fuel rail into the cylinder head, being careful not to damage the sealing ring (see the relevant chapter).
Warnings:
- Only this procedure for fastening the fuel rail ensures the correct fit of the rail on the injector.
- High pressure fuel lines are intended to be used only once, so use new lines when installing.
Connect the high-pressure fuel pipes to the fuel rails and secure them with the union nuts, tightening them to a torque of 25 N·m.
Install the high pressure fuel line clamps.
Install the camshaft (see the relevant chapter).
Install the upper section of the intake manifold (see the relevant chapter).
Remove air from the fuel system (see the relevant chapter).
