1. In order to ensure maximum service life of a rebuilt engine, it is necessary not only to assemble it correctly, but also to ensure that all parts are absolutely clean, the lubrication channels are clear, the lock washers and spring washers are in place, and all bearings and other working surfaces are well lubricated.
2. Before assembly, replace all bolts and studs with damaged threads and, if possible, replace all spring washers with new ones.
3. In addition to the usual working tools, you will need a large supply of clean rags, a can of motor oil, assorted spring washers, a set of new gaskets and a torque wrench.
