1. In order to ensure maximum service life of a rebuilt engine, you should not only assemble it correctly, but also ensure that all parts are absolutely clean, lubrication channels are cleaned, lock and spring washers are in place, and all bearings and other work surfaces were well lubricated.
2. Before assembly, replace all bolts and studs with damaged threads and, if possible, replace all spring washers with new ones.
3. In addition to the usual working tools, you will need a large supply of clean rags, a can of motor oil, an assortment of spring washers, a set of new gaskets and a torque wrench.
