Engine and manual transmission — connection before installation on the car (Opel Ascona C)

1. If the clutch was disassembled, center the driven clutch disc (see section 35).

2. Place the box next to the engine, making sure that its entire weight does not rest on the drive shaft while you insert it into the driven disk hub.

3. Install the clutch housing flange onto the dowel pins, and then insert and tighten the connecting bolts.

4. Replace the clutch cover.

5. Install the starter.
