Oil pressure sensor (Opel Frontera B)

Removal

Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

Disconnect the connector (1) from the oil pressure sensor (2), then unscrew the oil pressure sensor from the cylinder block. Collect any leaking engine oil.

Installation

Install the pressure sensor with a new sealing ring onto the oil pump and tighten it to a torque of 30 N·m.

Connect the connector to the oil pressure sensor.

Check the engine oil level and top up if necessary.

Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
