Calibration of the brake pressure modulator pressure sensor (Opel Insignia A)

            0

The brake pressure sensor does not require frequent calibration. Calibration of this sensor is necessary after service procedures such as:
  • Replacing the electronic brake control unit.
  • Replacing the brake pressure modulator.

The brake pressure sensor is calibrated using a diagnostic tool as follows:

1. Apply the parking brake and, if equipped, place the automatic transmission in Park.

2. Release the brake pedal.

3. Connect the diagnostic tool to the data bus connector.

4. Turn on the ignition, but do not start the engine.

5. In the list "Configuration/ECU reset functions" (EBCM Configuration/ Reset Functions) select "Brake Pressure Sensor Calibration" (Brake Pressure Sensor Calibration).

6. Follow the prompts of the diagnostic tool to complete the calibration procedure.

7. Clear any fault codes that may have occurred during the calibration process.
