The yaw rate sensor calibration procedure is performed using a diagnostic tool as follows:
1. Place the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Apply the parking brake and, if equipped, place the automatic transmission in Park.
3. Connect the diagnostic tool to the data bus connector.
4. Turn on the ignition, but do not start the engine.
5. In the "Multi-axis acceleration sensor module configuration/reset functions" list (Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor Module Configuration/Reset Functions) select "Learn Yaw Sensor" (Yaw Rate Sensor Learn).
6. Follow the prompts of the diagnostic tool to complete the calibration procedure.
7. Select "Learn Yaw Sensor" (Yaw Rate Sensor Learn) in the list "Configuration/ECU reset functions" (EBCM Configuration/Reset Functions).
8. Follow the prompts of the diagnostic tool to complete the calibration procedure.
9. Clear any fault codes that may have occurred during the calibration process.
