Safety valve (Opel Frontera B)

Removal

Remove the right front wheel fender liner.

Unscrew the plug (1) from the timing drive housing, then carefully remove the sealing ring, spring and piston.



Clean all parts.

Installation

Install the piston (2), spring (3) and new sealing ring (4), then screw the plug (5) into the timing drive housing and tighten it to a torque of 45 Nm.
