Good visibility is of great importance for ensuring traffic safety, which can only be achieved when all windows are clear of ice and snow and there is no fogging of the windows.

The greatest heating of the interior and the fastest cleaning of the glass from fogging are possible only when the engine reaches operating temperature.

Note: The heating and ventilation systems can only operate when the engine is running. The heater's performance is directly related to the engine coolant temperature, so turn on the heater after the engine has warmed up well.

When you turn the knob clockwise, the temperature of the air supplied to the passenger compartment increases and vice versa; when you turn the knob counterclockwise, the temperature decreases.

Note: When the coolant temperature is low, the temperature of the air supplied to the passenger compartment will not increase even if the air temperature control knob is turned to the high temperature side.

To adjust the air flow, you can select one of four fan speeds. The fan operating mode is set by turning the switch clockwise or counterclockwise.

When the handle is set to position 0, fresh air enters the passenger compartment based on a dynamic effect (while the car is moving).

Under normal conditions, the gear should be set to first or second gear.

  • In the central position: a mixture of fresh and recirculated air is supplied
  • Under normal conditions, it is recommended that the handle be set to supply fresh air to the vehicle interior.
  • The recirculation mode allows you to cool the air in the car interior faster and prevents unpleasant external odors or vapors from entering the car interior.

Warning: Using the recirculated air mode in cold and rainy weather is dangerous as it may cause the windows to fog up and reduce visibility, which may lead to an accident.

Depending on the position of the temperature control knob, warm or cold air is supplied to the vehicle interior.

The direction of air flow from the ventilation grilles can be adjusted by moving the handle vertically or horizontally, for example, towards the side windows or doors, for heating or creating a warm layer of air along the door in winter.

  • To ensure maximum ventilation of the upper cabin space, set the air flow distribution knob to the position and open all ventilation grilles.
  • To supply air to the rear seats: Point the center air vents slightly upward and toward the center of the passenger compartment.
  • To supply air to the feet: set the air flow distribution knob to the position .
  • To supply air to the head and lower part of the cabin: set the air flow distribution knob to the position .




Heating



The heating system provides:
  • Heated windshield and door glass.
  • Heating of the front footwell area.
  • Heating of the passenger compartment through the central and side ventilation grilles.
  • Heating in a combined way.

The heater's performance is directly related to the engine coolant temperature, so turn on the heater after the engine has warmed up well.

To quickly warm up the car interior, turn the temperature control knob to the right and set the fan speed to 2 or 3.

Creating a comfortable climate in the passenger compartment depends on the correct adjustment of the ventilation and heating system in the passenger compartment.

Combined installation of heating system control and air flow distribution switches in positions or , the temperature regulator in the middle position will create an air layer with different temperatures in the car interior and a pleasant effect of "a cool head and warm feet".
