Use of seat belts (Opel Frontera B)

Fastening

Adjust the seat position and headrest and only then fasten the belt.

Take hold of the belt buckle, smoothly pull the tape and place it over the chest through the middle of the shoulder.

Note: If the seat belt cannot be pulled out because it is in the locked position, pull the belt firmly once and release it. After this, try to pull the belt out smoothly again.

Insert the clasp into the slot of the corresponding lock until you hear a click.

When fastening pregnant women, the lap belt should be positioned as low as possible towards the hips to avoid pressure on the lower abdomen.

Adjusting the height of the seat belt

The height adjustment of the belt allows you to set the shoulder strap of the seat belt according to your height.

Press the button and move the slider with the bracket down or up to such a position that the shoulder line of the belt is at the level of the middle of the shoulder, but in no case covers the neck. To fix the engine with the bracket, release the button.

Note: After adjusting the seat belt height, make sure that the slider with the bracket is securely locked in one of the provided positions. To do this, without pressing the button, try to move the slider with the bracket up or down.

Unfastening

To unfasten the seat belt, press the button on the lock, which will push the buckle out of the slot under the action of the spring and the belt will be fully retracted.

Note: Since the belt will retract automatically, hold the latch tongue to ensure the belt retracts smoothly.

Adjusting the length of the rear seat lap belt

Press the front of the latch and pull the strap.
