Front
1. Remove the center pillar trim panel.
2. Unscrew the bolt securing the lower part of the belt to the center pillar.
3. Pull the seat belt out through the opening in the center pillar trim.
4. Unscrew the bolt securing the inertia drum housing and remove it from the center post.
5. Unscrew the belt from the regulator.
6. To remove the seat belt buckle, remove the seat as described in Chapter 28.

7. Assembly is carried out in reverse order.
Rear (Sedan)
8. Remove the rear seat pad and backrest (Chapter 28). Also remove the side trim.
9. Unscrew the bolt securing the lower (fixed) end of the belt to the floor.
10. Unscrew the belt from the regulator.
11. Unscrew the bolt securing the inertia drum device.
12. Pull the belt sideways out of the lower quarter of the trim panel.

13. Unscrew the bolt and remove the seat belt buckle.
14. Assembly is carried out in reverse order.
Rear (Station wagon)
15. Remove the rear seat pad (Chapter 28).
16. Unscrew the bolt securing the lower (fixed) end of the belt to the floor.
17. Unscrew the belt from the regulator.
18. Remove the trim panels from under the rear quarter window and wheel cover.

19. Where fitted, remove the luggage cover and the panel covering the roller channel (photo).



20. Unscrew the bolt securing the inertia drum and remove the belt.
21. Unscrew the bolt and remove the seat belt buckles.
22. Assembly is carried out in reverse order.
