Windshield wiper motor (Opel Frontera B)

Removal

Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

Remove the windshield wiper arms (see the relevant chapter).

Disconnect the connector (4) from the windshield wiper motor (3).



Unscrew the nut and disconnect the rod (1) from the electric motor shaft (2).

Remove 4 bolts and windshield wiper motor from engine compartment bulkhead.

Installation

Install the windshield wiper motor to the engine compartment bulkhead and secure with 4 bolts, tightening them to a torque of 8 N·m.

Connect the connector to the windshield wiper motor.

Install the lever onto the windshield wiper mechanism spindle so that the wiper blade is positioned at a distance (P) of 35 mm from the base of the windshield.

Install the windshield wiper arm mounting nut and tighten it to 23 N·m.



Install the protective cap onto the windshield wiper arm mounting nut.

Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
