Fuel tank filler cap hatch servo drive (Opel Frontera B)

Removal

Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

Turn the handle and remove the service cover from the rear left luggage compartment trim.



Get a jack to lift the car, remove the 2 bolts and remove the mounting bracket.



Release the clamps, unscrew the bolt (1) and 2 nuts (2) and remove the fuel filler flap servo motor together with the bracket.



Disconnect the connector from the fuel filler door servo motor.

Installation

Connect the connector to the fuel filler door servo motor.



Install the fuel filler flap servo motor together with the bracket and secure with a bolt (1) and 2 nuts (2). Secure the wires to the fuel filler flap servo motor with clamps.



Install the mounting bracket and secure it with 2 bolts, then install the jack to lift the vehicle.



Install the service cover onto the rear left luggage compartment trim.

Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.

Reprogram all operational memories of electronic units.
