Removal
Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
Remove the windshield wiper arms (4) (see the relevant chapter).
Remove the windshield wiper motor (1) (see the relevant chapter).
Remove the screws and cover (3) of the ventilation chamber located at the base of the windshield.
Loosen the nuts securing the windshield wiper mechanism spindles.
Disconnect the rods (2) from the windshield wiper mechanism spindles.

Installation
Connect the rods to the windshield wiper mechanism spindles.
Install the windshield wiper mechanism spindles and secure them with nuts.
Install the ventilation chamber cover and secure it with screws.
Install the windshield wiper motor (see the relevant chapter).
Install the windshield wiper arms (see the relevant chapter).
Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
