Ignition switch (Opel Frontera B)

Removal

Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

Remove the lower cover from the instrument panel on the driver's side (see the relevant chapter).

Remove 7 screws and remove the lower steering column cover.



Remove the screw and remove the ignition switch from the steering column.

Disconnect the connector from the ignition switch.

Installation

Connect the connector to the ignition switch.

Install the ignition switch onto the steering column and secure it with one bolt.

Install the lower steering column cover and secure it with 7 screws.

Install the driver's side instrument panel lower cover (see the relevant chapter).

Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
