Front door window lifter (Opel Frontera B)

Removal

Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

Remove the front door trim (see the relevant chapter).

Carefully remove the dust and moisture protection film from the front door.

Remove the bolts securing the upper window regulator bracket to the front door.

Remove the bolts securing the window lift drive to the front door.

While supporting the glass, remove the bolts securing the glass to the window regulator bracket.

Remove the bolts securing the lower window regulator bracket to the front door.



Disconnect the connector from the window lift motor.

Remove the window regulator from the front door through the hole in the inner door panel.



Remove 3 bolts and remove the motor from the window regulator.

Installation

Install the motor onto the front door window regulator and secure it with 3 bolts.

Insert the window regulator into the front door through the hole in the inner door panel.

Connect the connector to the window lift motor.

Screw in the bolts securing the lower window regulator bracket to the front door.

Screw the bolts securing the glass to the window regulator bracket.

Screw in the bolts securing the window lift drive to the front door.

Screw in the bolts securing the upper window regulator bracket to the front door.

Carefully install the dust and moisture protection film on the front door.

Install the front door trim.

Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
