Note: The operation is shown using the example of replacing an electric window lifter. Replacing a manual window lifter is performed in the same way (there are minor differences, see text).
To complete the work you will need a drill, a 10 mm diameter drill, a riveter, and 5.2 mm diameter rivets.
Sequence of execution
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the front door glass (see "Front door glass - replacement").
3. If electric windows are installed, disconnect the wiring harness connector from the gearmotor.
4. Using a 10 mm drill, drill out six rivets that secure the window lift mechanism.
5. Move the window regulator slightly upward to remove the mounting bracket from engagement with the door panel...
...then we remove the window regulator through the lower technological opening of the front door.

6. If the gear motor is faulty, it can be replaced separately. To do this, use a TORX T30 key to unscrew the three bolts that secure it to the window lift mechanism.
7. Install the parts in reverse order.
