Note: The work is shown on the Astra model with a three-door hatchback body. On other models, the operation is performed similarly.
Sequence of execution
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the door trim (see "Door trims for Astra model - removal and installation" or "Door trims for Zafira model - removal and installation").
3. Remove the plastic film from the door.
4. Using a 10 mm drill, drill out two rivets securing the rear guide.

5. Move the support back relative to the door, removing it from the glass holder groove (shown on the removed mechanism).

6. Remove the guide through the lower technological opening.

7. Connect the power window control button and turn on the ignition or install the window lift handle (depending on the configuration), lower the glass so that the glass holder mounting bolts are opposite the technological holes and use the TORX T40 key to unscrew the two mounting bolts.

8. Lower the front part of the glass down a little, and lift the back part up so that the glass holder with the window lifter lever slider is removed (shown on the removed mechanism).

9. Remove the seal from the rear door pillar.

10. Remove the glass from the opening to the outside of the door.
Note: You may need to move the window regulator up or down to make it easier to remove the glass.
