The Astra model with a three-door hatchback body has a fixed glass in the rear part of the body side, secured with nuts. Therefore, if necessary, it is quite easy to replace it yourself.

Note: The work execution is shown on the example of the operation with the left glass, replacement of the right glass is performed similarly.


Sequence of execution



1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").

2. Remove the interior light (see "Interior and luggage compartment lighting lamps - removal, replacement of lamps and installation").

3. Remove the luggage compartment shelf.

4. Using a thin slotted screwdriver, remove the two fasteners...
