Rear Door Glass — Replacement (Opel Zafira A)

Note: The work is shown on the Zafira model. On the Astra model, the operation is performed similarly.

Sequence of execution

1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").

2. Remove the door trim (see "Door trims for Astra model - removal and installation" or "Door trims for Zafira model - removal and installation").

3. Remove the plastic film from the door.

4. Connect the power window control switch and turn on the ignition or install the window lift handle (depending on the configuration), we lower the glass down.

5. Remove the seal from the middle pillar of the rear door.



6. Using a TORX T20 key, unscrew the upper bolt securing the middle pillar.



7. Using a TORX T40 key, unscrew the two lower bolts securing the middle pillar.





8. Remove the middle pillar assembly with the seal.



9. Remove the additional window section.



10. Move the glass back, disengaging its holder from the window lift mechanism slider, and remove the glass from the door opening.



11. Install the parts in reverse order.
