Decorative trim for tailgate — replacement (Opel Zafira A)

Sequence of execution

1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").

2. Remove the trunk lid trim (see "Astra model trunk door trim - removal and installation" or "Zafira tailgate trim - removal and installation").

3. Using an 8 mm socket wrench, unscrew the two nuts securing the switch (cylinder) (see "Tailgate Lock Switch (Cylinder) - Replacement").

4. Using the same key, unscrew the fastening nut on the left...



...and on the right side of the decorative strip.



5. On Zafira and Astra station wagon models, disconnect the wiring harness connector for the license plate lights.

6. Remove the decorative trim.



7. Install the parts in reverse order.
