Replacing the front bumper trim (Opel Insignia A)

Basic version



1. Disconnect the front parts of the front mudguards.

2. Remove the six upper fasteners (1) from the front bumper.

2. Remove the six upper fasteners (1) from the front bumper.


3. Loosen, but do not completely remove, the rear bolts of the front bumper beam (2).

Note: Tightening torque: 25 Nm.


4. Remove the four plastic clips (3) from the front bumper trim.

5. Disconnect all connectors and remove the front bumper trim (4).

6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Note: If necessary, swap components from the old to the new front bumper trim.


ORS version



1. Disconnect the front parts of the front mudguards.

2. Remove the six upper fasteners (1) from the front bumper.

2. Remove the six upper fasteners (1) from the front bumper.


3. Remove the six fasteners (2) from the front bumper trim.



4. Remove the four plastic clips (3) from the front bumper trim.

5. Unscrew the two side bolts (4) of the front bumper trim.

7. Disconnect all connectors and hoses, then remove the front bumper trim (6).

8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
