The car uses a monocoque body structure designed to reflect the brand's individuality and originality, while improving on the capacity, practicality and durability achieved in previous models.
The body is made of steel elements using stamping.
Passive safety is ensured by special deformable safety zones made of softer steel, as well as high-strength protective beams that are resistant to destruction.
Most of the elements are connected by welding, but some components can be connected by means of assembly glue. The front fenders are secured with bolts.
The hood, doors and some panels are made of zinc coated metal and then primed to eliminate paint chips before the paint is applied.
The interior and some exterior body components are made of plastic. The front and rear bumpers, as well as the radiator grille, are cast from a highly durable lightweight synthetic material. Plastic elements, such as fender liners, are installed on the underbody to prevent corrosion.
