Astra model trunk door trim — removal and installation (Opel Zafira A)

The trim of the luggage compartment door must be removed to replace the door lock, its switch (cylinder) and electric locking drive, rear window wiper motor-reducer.

Sequence of execution

1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").

2. Using a thin slotted screwdriver, remove two plugs from the trunk door trim.



3. Using a TORX T20 key, unscrew two screws 1, and then four screws 2 on both sides of the trim.



4. Pulling down, remove the upholstery, overcoming the resistance of the holders.

Installation

We install the parts in reverse order.

Note: Before installation, check the integrity of the holders.

Replace the holders if necessary.
