Electric drive for locking the luggage compartment door — replacement (Opel Zafira A)

Note: The work is shown on the Astra model. On the Zafira model, the operation is performed similarly.

Sequence of execution

1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").

2. Remove the trim of the luggage compartment door (see "Astra model trunk door trim - removal and installation").

3. Disconnect the electric drive rod from the switch mechanism (cylinder) (see "Tailgate Lock Switch (Cylinder) - Replacement").

4. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the electric drive of the lock.



5. Using a 7 mm wrench, unscrew the two bolts securing the electric drive and remove it.

6. If necessary, disconnect the traction from the electric drive.

7. Install the parts in reverse order.
