Replacing the lock on the Astra model
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair"),
2. Remove the trim of the luggage compartment door (see "Astra model trunk door trim - removal and installation").
3. Using a thin slotted screwdriver, turn the lock and disconnect the rod from the lock.

4. Using the TORX TZO key, unscrew the three mounting bolts and remove the lock.

5. Install the parts in reverse order.
Recommendation: Lubricate the lock mechanism with lithium grease.
Replacing the lock on the Zafira model
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the trim of the luggage compartment door (see "Zafira tailgate trim - removal and installation").
3. Using a thin slotted screwdriver, turn the lock...

...and disconnect the rod from the lock.

4. Using a TORX T30 key, unscrew the four mounting bolts...

...and remove the lock from inside the door.

5. Install the parts in reverse order.
Recommendation: Lubricate the lock mechanism with lithium grease.
Adjustment
Note: The adjustment procedure is shown on the Astra model. On the Zafira model, the work is performed in a similar manner.
To adjust the trunk lock, use the TORX T40 key to unscrew the two bolts securing the lock and, by moving the lock, achieve the easiest possible closing of the trunk door.
