Expansion of luggage compartment volume (3-door models) (Opel Frontera A)

1. The luggage compartment volume can be expanded by folding the rear seat of the car forward.

The seat release levers are located on both sides of the backrest.



2. Press one of the levers forward and lower the seat back down onto the cushion.

3. The rear side of the seat cushion is secured to the floor of the passenger compartment by a centrally located fastener.



4. To release the cushion, lift the release lever, then turn the seat assembly forward, placing it under the front seat backs, and secure it in this position with the latch located on the floor.



5. To return the seat to its original position, release the seat holder latch.



6. Lower the seat onto the floor latch and press it down firmly until it clicks into place.

7. The locking lever should now be parallel to the floor.

Caution: The seat latch serves as an anchor point for the rear seat belts and must therefore be securely latched.

8. Return the rear seat back to its normal position, where it should latch automatically.
