Expansion of luggage compartment volume (5-door models) (Opel Frontera A)

1. The luggage compartment volume can be expanded by folding the separate rear seats of the car forward.

2. Remove the headrests (see below).

3. Fasten the rear seat belt buckles.

4. To fold the rear seats, release their cushions by pulling the belt fasteners.



5. Raise the cushion to a vertical position, pressing it against the backs of the front seats (see illustrations 2.33 and 2.34).



6. After pressing the buttons, release the locks at the top of the backrests and fold the latter forward, laying them horizontally close to the vertically raised cushion.

7. When returning the rear seats to their normal position, firmly push the seatbacks back until their latches click into place.

8. Make sure that the seat belts do not get caught under the seat backs.

Caution: Before returning the cushion to its original position, pull back the seat belts to prevent them from fraying or accidentally getting caught.

9. Make sure the cushion snaps securely into place.
