Removal and installation front door glass (Opel Kadett D)

Removal

Remove the inner door trim.

Remove the water-repellent film.

Remove the window regulator guide.



Using a wooden or plastic wedge, remove the outer seal of the door shaft with an upward movement.



Tilt the door glass and remove it from the door shaft.

Installation

After tilting the door glass, install it from the outside into the door shaft, See Figure A8993.

Install the window lift guide. Monitor the window lift functions, install roller -1- in the guide -A-, roller -2- in the glass guide.

Lubricate all sliding parts of the window lift with a thin layer of Moly paste. Press the outer seal for the shaft into the door shaft.

Carefully apply water-repellent film to the holes in the door.



Install the interior door trim.
