Removal and installation glass in the rear doors (Opel Kadett D)

Removal

Remove the window regulator, see paragraph 18.7.



Unscrew the guide -A- at points -1-, -2- and -3-.

Unscrew the adjusting screw for the guide, see figure A9030 below.



Tilt the guide and pull it out upwards.



Remove the fixed glass together with the seal from the window frame (remove the glass at an angle, forward and upward).



Squeeze and remove the remaining seals.



The glass is pulled out of the door shaft in an inclined position outward.

Installation

Install the glass into the door shaft from the outside at an angle.



Insert the glass together with the guide into the Roman window.

Install a window regulator, see paragraph 18.7.

Install all remaining seals into the frame.



Screw in the adjusting screws for the guide. The dimension -X- is formed by selecting the lateral inclination of the glass. Lock the screws. K - lock nut behind the door frame, U - spacer washer behind the door frame.



Carefully apply water-repellent film to the holes in the door.

Install the interior door trim.
