Front door window — removal and installation (Opel Omega A)

1. Remove the door trim panel (Chapter 12). Pull back the plastic membrane cover as far as necessary.

2. Remove the window regulator by unscrewing the bolts, drilling out the rivets from the outside, and disconnecting the levers from the glass guides of the base. On windows with electric windows, disconnect the wiring (photo).







3. Remove the outside mirror (Chapter 22).



4. Carefully remove the protective strip and door trim.

5. Unscrew the bolt and remove the front guide (photo).



6. Remove the window from the door.

7. Reassemble in reverse order. Check that the guide and stops are correctly attached to the front edge of the window. Set the regulator position so that the top edge of the window is parallel to the top frame of the door. Check that the window closes smoothly.
