Door — removal and installation (Opel Omega A)

1. Remove the door trim panel (Chapter 12) and the outer door handle (Chapter 15). Pull back the plastic membrane cover as far as required.

2. Remove the door handle panel. Disconnect the central locking wires where necessary (photo).

3. Remove the retaining rings and remove the lock cylinder from the handle panel.



4. Support the door with wooden blocks.

5. Remove the lower caps and, using a suitable punch, push the hinge pins upwards (photo). Remove the door from the car.
