Bumpers — removal and installation (Opel Omega A)

Front

1. Raise the front of the vehicle with a jack and install axle stands.

2. Where equipped, disconnect the wiring from the front fog lights and outside air temperature sensor.



3. Unscrew and remove the bolts securing the brackets to the bottom.

4. Press back the plastic fasteners and remove the suspension brackets.

5. Disconnect the side sections and remove the bumper forward.

6. Assembly is carried out in reverse order.

Rear

7. Remove the rear light assemblies as described in Section 13.

8. Disconnect the wires from the license plate light.

9. Remove the spare tire (on station wagon models).

10. Remove the rear protector and trim panel.

11. Unscrew the bolts and remove the rear bumper.



12. Assembly is carried out in reverse order.
