Front passenger airbag (Opel Frontera B)

Warning! See the warnings in Chapter "Driver's airbag".

Removal

Remove the screws and remove the glove box from the instrument panel.



In the opening for the glove box, unscrew the screws and remove the cover (arrow).



Disconnect the connector from the front passenger airbag.

Remove the nuts and remove the front passenger airbag from the rear of the instrument panel.

Remove the front passenger airbag trim from the instrument panel.

Installation

Install the front passenger airbag into the instrument panel and secure with nuts, tightening them to a torque of 8 Nm.



Install the front passenger airbag trim onto the instrument panel.

Connect the connector to the front passenger airbag.

Install the cover (arrow) and secure it with screws.



Place the glove box on the dashboard and secure it securely with screws.



Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
