Removal and installation the front passenger airbag switch (Opel Astra J)

You will need a flat-blade screwdriver.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Open the right front door.



3. Pry up the top edge of the right instrument panel trim panel…



4. …and detach the trim from the panel, overcoming the elastic resistance of its holders.



5. Press the locking tab of the front passenger airbag switch harness connector with a screwdriver…





6. …disconnect the block from the switch and remove the cover.



7. Press the two switch latches together…



8. …and remove it from the hole in the decorative trim.



9. Install the front passenger airbag switch and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
