Proper adjustment of the accelerator pedal and control actuator is essential for correct engine speed control.
1. Remove the lock cover from the pedal stop in the car interior.
2. Measure the length of the protruding part of the screw with a ruler. It should be 14±0.5 mm. Close the lock cover again after measurement.
3. Check that the accelerator pedal is in the idle position and the throttle lever at the throttle body is in the closed position.
4. Pull the outer gas pedal bushing towards the pedal and check if the clip is at bushing height in the groove next to the tip.
5. If necessary, move the clamp. Then check the position of the idle and full throttle lever at the throttle body.
