Before removal, it is recommended to carefully examine the design of the rod mount.
Do not allow the rubber bushings of the rod and its associated parts to come into contact with any lubricant. The tie rod mount is tightened after the vehicle has been lowered onto its wheels.
The fastening nut is tightened to a torque of 80 Nm, the bolt and nut to a torque of 165 Nm.
The bushings are replaced using a press. Do not use any lubricant when doing this.
