2. The crankcase has a brass bushing into which a sensor can be installed that determines the position of the crankshaft using two pins installed on its counterweights (see photo).

3. Without special equipment, you will not be able to use this sensor, but it can be useful if the ignition on your car is adjusted by a specialist.
4. Piston No. 1 will be at TDC when the mark on the crankshaft pulley moves relative to the pointer by 10 degrees, in the normal direction of crankshaft rotation.
