Rear Door Lock — Removal and Installation (Opel Ascona C)

1. Raise the glass fully.

2. Remove the interior trim panel as described in Section 12.

3. Move back the plastic water-repellent screen to gain access to the lock.

4. Disconnect the control levers from the lock and the remote control handle by sliding them towards the front of the vehicle.

5. At the edge of the door, loosen and remove the mounting screws and remove the door lock by rotating it relative to the glass guide and then removing it through the hole in the inner door panel.

6. Reinstall by performing the above steps in reverse order.
