Rear Door Lock (Hatchback) — Removal and Installation (Opel Ascona C)

1. Open the rear door and detach its inner trim panel to remove it.

2. Unscrew the four screws that secure the lock.

3. Remove the fork spring clips that secure the lock cylinder housing.

4. Pull the lock cylinder out, together with the control levers.

5. Remove the lock through the hole in the inner panel of the rear door.

6. Installation is carried out by performing the above steps in reverse order.
