Rear Door Outside Handle — Removal and Installation (Opel Ascona C)

1. Remove the inner door trim panel as described in Section 12.

2. Slide back the plastic water-repellent shield as necessary to gain access to the door lock.

3. Disconnect the control lever (X) (see Figure 11.32).

4. Unscrew the two door handle mounting screws and remove the door handle.

5. Installation is carried out by performing the above steps in reverse order. Adjust the position of the control lever using the threaded fasteners to provide the distance dimension X in accordance with Figure 11.33.
