Door glass — removal and installation (Opel Ascona C)

1. Remove the window lift mechanism as described in previous Section.

2. Press the clamps and remove the seal strips.

3. Remove the rear door glass holder by lifting it up from the door, after first unscrewing its mounting screws.

4. Remove the glass by lifting it up and tilting it as shown in Figures 11.17 and 11.18 (cm).

5. Reinstall by following the above steps in reverse order, remembering to adjust the glass holders if necessary to ensure smooth and even movement.

6. In case of electric window lift mechanisms installed, please contact for details Chapter 12.
