Remove the three screws and remove the air box along with the air ducts.

Remove the clamp from the end of the throttle cable at the carburetor bracket, then pull the gasket off of it.

Remove the end of the cable from the throttle lever.
Working inside the passenger compartment, loosen the retaining clamps and remove the interior trim panel from the driver's footwell.

Pull the cable holder away from the pedal.
Make a detailed note of the location of the cable, then pull it out through the engine compartment bulkhead.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.
Check the location of the cable.
Make sure the rubber bulkhead grommet is installed correctly.
After installation, check the operation of the throttle actuator and, if necessary, adjust the cable as indicated below.
There are two points for adjusting the cable, namely the stop screw under the accelerator pedal (serves to adjust the position of the pedal) and a clamp located on the threaded part of the cable protective sheath next to the carburetor bracket (serves to adjust the free play of the cable).
The cable should be adjusted so that when the accelerator pedal is pressed, there is still a very small amount of free play in the cable.
Check that the throttle valve is fully open when the accelerator pedal is fully depressed. Adjust the position of the clamp on the cable housing and the stop screw on the pedal.
