The fuel filter is located in the fuel supply pipe to the carburetor.
Disconnect the air cleaner connections, then disconnect the vacuum pipe and breather hose from the air box. Remove the three screws and lift up the air box along with the air lines.
Place a rag under the fuel tank inlet pipe near the carburetor to catch escaping fuel during operation.
Disconnect the fuel supply hose from the carburetor. There may be a fuel leak, so close the hose openings.
Remove the filter, carefully screw the M3 bolt about 5 mm into its end and pull the bolt to pull the filter out of the tube, see fig. 4.25.
Insert the new filter into the tube, making sure it is secure, then connect the fuel inlet hose and install the air box.
