1. Block the front wheels, then jack up the rear of the vehicle and support it on axle stands.
2. Install the clamps on the fuel filter inlet and outlet hoses.
3. Loosen the clamping bolt (s) from the bottom.
4. The fuel inside the filter remains pressurized even when the ignition is off, so wrap a cloth around both ends of the filter to absorb spilled fuel.
5. Loosen the clamps, disconnect the filter from the hoses.
6. Install the new filter using the reverse of the removal procedure, the arrow on the surface of the filter must match the direction of fuel flow from the fuel tank to the engine.
