The fuel filter is installed under the bottom of the car on the left side of the fuel tank.
To carry out the work, you will need an inspection pit or overpass.
Sequence of execution
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Relieve the pressure in the fuel line (see "Fuel Line - Pressure Relief").
3. Using narrow-jaw pliers, squeeze the clamps and disconnect the fuel supply line from the filter fitting.
4. In a similar manner, disconnect the fuel outlet line from the filter.
5. Using a TORX T20 key, unscrew the clamp tightening bolt and remove the fuel filter.
6. Using a thin slotted screwdriver, bend back the two fasteners and remove the holders from both fuel filter fittings.

7. Install the parts in the reverse order. The direction of fuel flow through the filter is indicated on its body. This must be taken into account during installation.
