The Multec system has only one solenoid operated nozzle located above the throttle. The moment of opening and closing of the nozzle is determined by the computer. The computer receives information about the parameters of the engine from the corresponding sensors.
The system computer has a troubleshooting program that detects engine malfunctions and stores them in memory.
Attention! If the battery is disconnected from the vehicle's on-board network for more than 10 seconds, the trouble codes in the computer's memory are erased. If the malfunction is not confirmed after 20 subsequent engine starts, the record of it is erased from the computer's memory.
Fuel is supplied to the system by an electric pump located in the fuel tank. The pump generates a pressure of about 0.76 bar.
