Removal and installation injectors (Opel Vivaro A)

Attention! It is prohibited to disassemble the injectors and disconnect the injector body from the sprayer.


Removal



1. Disconnect the wires from the battery.

2. Unscrew bolt 1 of the clamp (figure 3.101). Disconnect air duct 2 from the charge air cooling radiator.

3. Disconnect wiring connector 3 from the air flow meter, pipeline 4 from the turbocharger, unscrew bolts 5 securing the air filter housing and remove the air filter (figure 3.83).

4. Disconnect the fuel drain line and plug the holes with plugs (figure 3.90).

5. Remove the high pressure fuel line using tool Mot.1383.

6. Plug the holes with plugs.

7. Disconnect the wiring connectors from the injectors.

8. Remove the nozzle mounting flange, nozzle, flameproof washer (figure 3.104).

Cleaning



9. It is strictly forbidden to use metal brushes, sandpaper, or ultrasonic cleaning to clean the injectors.

10. To clean the injector nozzle, soak it in a degreasing liquid for a while, then wipe it with a clean, lint-free cloth.



Installation



11. When installing, replace the injector washer with a new one (figure 3.105).

12. Install the nozzle. Tighten the mounting flange bolts to 25 Nm.
