The sensor is rigidly connected to the accelerator pedal. To replace it, you need to replace the accelerator pedal.
Removal
1. Disconnect the battery and harness connector 1 from the accelerator pedal position sensor (figure 3.108). Unscrew the three bolts 2 securing the pedal and remove it.

Installation
2. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor Contact Assignment
The purpose of the accelerator pedal position sensor contacts is shown in the figure 3.109.

- Contact 1 - Ground connection of conductive track 2.
- Contact 2 - Ground connection of conductive track 1.
- Contact 3 - Signal from conductive track 1.
- Contact 4 - Power supply for conductive track 1.
- Contact 5 - Power supply for conductive track 2.
- Contact 6 - Signal from conductive track 2.
